Dr. Sion Roy is a physician, professor, and education advocate dedicated to improving lives and supporting his community. Elected to the Santa Monica College Board in 2018, Sion has championed key programs and facilitated the opening of Santa Monica College’s new state of the art Malibu campus.

As a Physician and Associate Professor at Harbor-UCLA Public Hospital in Torrance, he’s long mentored the next generation of medical students while advancing patient care for our most vulnerable communities.

After losing their home in the Palisades Fire, Dr. Roy and his family have been focused on rebuilding and supporting their resilient community, with a renewed commitment to emergency planning and public safety to help ensure a safer, stronger future.
