SENATE DISTRICT 24 — Endorsements continue to roll in for Dr. Sion Roy’s campaign for Senate District 24. The latest group to add their names to his roster of supporters are education advocates.
Dr. Roy has served on the Santa Monica College (SMC) Board of Trustees since 2017 and is currently the Vice Chair. He announced on Tuesday that he has officially received the endorsement of the entire SMC Board. This is a validation of the work that Dr. Roy has put into creating educational new opportunities for students including nursing assistant and home health aide programs at SMC.
In addition, Dr. Roy has received the endorsements of past and current members of the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District Board of Education and a Trustee of the Claremont Unified School District Board. These endorsements include:
