SENATE DISTRICT 24 — Attorney General Rob Bonta, who has been at the forefront of protecting California from the Trump Administration’s onslaught, has endorsed Dr. Sion Roy in the Senate District 24 race.
Attorney General Bonta has led the fight against the Trump Administration’s federal overreach and abuses, blocking their attempt to overturn birthright citizenship, blocking HHS from sharing Medicaid data with DHS for immigration enforcement or using any Medicaid data it received for immigration enforcement, and pushing back on USDA’s demands that states hand over SNAP recipients’ private data. Beyond that, Attorney General Bonta has gone after polluters, held corporations to account, prosecuted numerous wage theft and misclassification cases, and protected LGBTQ+ students, among many actions taken on behalf of Californians.
